Roy Hodgson: 'Jordan Henderson, Jack Wilshere have proved fitness'
England manager Roy Hodgson has hinted that both Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere will be in his squad for Euro 2016 this summer. Both players were lacking match practice when they joined up with the England team, and Hodgson had previously suggested that question marks over the duo's fitness was the reason behind him naming a preliminary 26-man squad. However, they have both come through friendlies against Turkey and Australia unscathed, and Hodgson believes that their fitness will only improve over the coming weeks. "I don't think it's fitness dependant (with them). We've had two matches and plenty of training matches so wouldn't be using that as an excuse," he told ITV...
