Arsenal to complete Jamie Vardy deal within 24 hours?
Jamie Vardy could reportedly become an Arsenal player within the next 24 hours as the Gunners look to hurry through a deal for the Leicester City frontman. Last night it emerged that Arsene Wenger's side had started negotiations with the 29-year-old after triggering the £20m release clause in his contract. According to the Daily Mail, talks have progressed at "an accelerated pace" with "only formalities" now left to conclude. Vardy is due to travel with the England squad to France for Euro 2016 on Monday, and manager Roy Hodgson has already ruled out any of his players engaging in transfer talks or undergoing medicals during the tournament.
