Arsenal get another boost for £19m Swiss superman
The news just keeps getting better and better for Arsenal as far as their pursuit of VfL Wolfsburg defensive star Ricardo Rodriguez. According to HITC, Rodriguez's agent confirmed to Italian radio station TMW that the Wolfsburg left-back has recently had a release clause inserted into his contract – which was not there when the club were determined to keep him. Recent reports have suggested that a transfer for Rodriguez would cost around £19 million. Rodriguez has been a star for Wolfsburg over the past five years, making 125 appearances since making the switch from FC Zurich and scoring a career-high 10 goals in all competition during Wolfsburg's 2014-15 campaign.
