Arsenal Lining Up Bid For Bayern Munich Star David Alaba
It has been revealed that Arsenal are preparing a bid for Bayern Munich star David Alaba. Arsene Wenger is ready to break his transfer record to ensure he doesn't get caught in the slipstream of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola's expected buying blitz this summer. The Daily Star Sunday says Alaba is part of plans of a £250MILLION in response to the pair making Manchester the spending capital of football. Already home from the Euros, Austrian Alaba, 23, is rated at around £40m by Bayern Munich. Although primarily used as a left-back, his hero when growing up was Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
