Former Arsenal star says ‘Wenger for England’
The Gunners former left-back Ashely Cole says he would like to see Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger at the helm of the England national team. The 35-year-old believes the Frenchman would be the perfect man to take England forward given his proven ability over the years to develop talented young players (via Skysports). Cole, who now plays for LA Galaxy in the States, served under Wenger for seven seasons before transferring to bitter rivals Chelsea where he made 229 appearances (75 more than for Arsenal).
