Official: Arsenal Announce Loan Deal
Arsenal have confirmed Wojciech Szczesny will spend the upcoming season on loan with Italian outfit AS Roma after a successful stint last season (via Arsenal.com). Szczesny enjoyed plenty of first team football last campaign in Serie A after the arrival of Petr Cech in north London, and had been rumoured to be heading back to Italy in order to secure regular first team football. The Gunners official website announced the deal today and wished him well, while the Poland international revealed his excitement ahead of the new season that will see him face stiff competition from Brazil international Alisson.
