Wenger Reveals Worrying Status Of Gabriel Injury
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Gabriel has suffered ligament damage to his ankle, but must undergo scans to discover the extent of the injury after Arsenal's 3-2 victory over Manchester City. The Gunners pre-season friendly win was marred with the news that the Brazilin could face an extended period on the sidelines after sustaining the injury late in the match, where the centre back appeared to catch his studs in the turf heading into a challenge.
