Jack Wilshere's career has been hampered by injury
The England midfielder is a doubt for the start of the new campaign after suffering a 'slight patella problem'. It meant he missed Arsenal's final pre-season matches having been absent for most of last season with an knee injury sustained before the start of the campaign. But speaking at the launch of the new Premier League season, Wenger was optimistic Wilshere can get back to his best.
