Alexis Sanchez declared fit to play for Chile
Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has suggested that he will select Alexis Sanchez for his team's World Cup qualifier with Uruguay. Last week, it emerged that Sanchez had picked up an injury but despite initial reports suggesting that the Arsenal forward could be sidelined for six weeks, it was claimed that he has sustained a "low-grade muscle injury". Gunners boss Arsene Wenger expressed his concern for the welfare of his star player but despite his fears, it appears that the 27-year-old will play on Tuesday.
