Video: Arsenal flop/legend nets Denmark hat-trick as Premier League misfits star
Premier League misfits came into their own on Wednesday night, but it was Nicklas Bendtner who stole the thunder with his first ever international hat-trick for Denmark. The Arsenal hero/flop is currently plying his trade for high-flying Bundesliga challengers Wolfsburg, who are currently in second place thanks to the form of two of Europe’s best performing stars. Sadly for Bendtner, though, he isn’t one of them, having scored just four goals this term compared to team-mate Bas Dost's 13, while former Chelsea man Kevin De Bruyne is the league's leading assist maker.
