Granit Xhaka nearly costs Arsenal, who show spirit in beating Burnley late on

Arsenal were awarded a controversial penalty in the dying moments to secure all three points and second place in the Prem. A last-gasp penalty kick from Alexis Sanchez enabled Arsenal to beat Burnley 2-1 and jump up to second in the table. A stoppage-time equaliser from Andre Gray appeared to have denied the Gunners the win but Arsene Wenger's 10 men somehow found the resources to snatch the points. Positives This was a weekend in which Arsenal desperately needed the points. Had they failed to beat Burnley, it would surely have been the final nail in the coffin of their title challenge.
