£1bn Man United project, £70m Chelsea talks, £30m Arsenal swoop, Liverpool deal imminent

Manchester United are reportedly ready to back Jose Mourinho over the next five years with massive funds to spend. According to The Sun, Ed Woodward and United’s owners have held talks over a new contract package for Mourinho. They are set to increase his pay to £12million a year, with the intention of keeping the Portuguese in charge until at least 2022. A £200m spree is set to ensue this summer to land the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Victor Lindelof and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
