Petr Cech was subbed off in the first half after an apparant calf injury. Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech limped off with an apparent calf injury in the first half of Saturday's game at West Brom. Cech pulled up as he was running out to the right side of his area to collect a ball and immediately sat down shaking his head to indicate there was a serious problem. He walked gingerly off the pitch and was replaced by David Ospina in the 38th minute, with the score tied at 1-1. Minutes earlier, Cech had pulled off the best save of the game when he denied Darren Fletcher's hard shot with a one-handed stop.
