Arsenal Ladies captain Alex Scott and club legend Kelly Smith have been honoured this week for their contribution to the women's game.Alex was awarded an MBE at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, in recognition of her "outstanding contribution to Women's Football".Alex, who first joined us aged eight, has helped the club to many honours through the years – including a domestic and European quadruple in 2007. Away from the pitch, she has been a long-time supporter of the game at grassroots level.
