Bayern Munich play down reports of interest in Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has distanced the club from reports that they want to sign Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international has been linked with a big-money move away from the Emirates after failing to agree a new deal with the Gunners. Manchester City and Chelsea have also been touted as potential suitors for Sanchez, but now Bayern have played down suggestions that they could make a swoop due to the player's wage demands. It is believed that Arsenal are willing to pay £250,000-a-week wages to Sanchez, but the attacker wants more.
