Jack Wilshere drops down to Arsenal Under-23s squad to boost recovery

Arsenal's Jack Wilshere is reportedly returning to action at Under-23 level in a bid to step up his comeback from injury. The 25-year-old has been out of action since April when he broke his leg while on loan at Bournemouth. Wilshere is not expected to feature for the Gunners in their Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday evening, with the club's medical staff advising him to rack up game time at a lower level, according to Evening Standard.
