GETTY Chelsea are confident they will be able to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for £35m Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the final year of his current Gunners contract and talks over fresh terms have stalled. Liverpool and Manchester City have both been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old in recent weeks but it seems Chelsea are leading the race for him. The London Evening Standard claim that Chelsea have received 'sufficient encouragement' that they can complete a deal for the England international.
