Nacho Monreal rubbishes Arsenal exit rumours
Nacho Monreal says he wants to remain at Arsenal. The left-back has been linked with a return to Spain as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates. However, the 29-year-old has now denied those rumours and instead argued that he would prefer to stay in north London. "I have one more year on my contract and I would like to stay at Arsenal," Monreal told UAE news outlet Sport360. "I am very lucky to play for Arsenal, and am very happy to play for Arsenal "I would like to stay. If the boss [Arsene Wenger] wants me to stay, I will do as I am very happy."
