Martinez sends Arsenal board ultimatum over his future after first team stint

Emiliano Martinez has issued a 'play me or sell me' message to the Arsenal hierarchy following his impressive stint in goal. The shot-stopper, who signed from Argentinian side Independiente for £1.1million in 2010, only featured 14 times for the Gunners before this season. In his time at the Emirates Martinez has been loaned out to Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham, Wolves, Getafe and Reading. But following Bernd Leno's nasty injury against Brighton in June Martinez has played regularly and done a superb job between the sticks.
