Lingard wouldn't be welcome at Arsenal for 'disrespecting' club, says Ferdinand

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand says Jesse Lingard wouldn’t be welcome at Arsenal for “disrespecting the Emirates” - despite reported interest in the player from Mikel Arteta’s side. Lingard has rediscovered his best form since joining West Ham on loan from United in January, registering eight goals and four assists in his first nine appearances. Reports suggest the Hammers are now keen to sign him on a permanent basis this summer, yet they are likely to face competition for his signature. It is believed Arsenal are also exploring the idea of targeting the England international as a potential backup option should they fail to sign loanee Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid....
