Arsenal target opens negotiations over new Leicester City deal
Leicester City have opened talks with Jeffrey Schlupp over a new contract extension in hopes of fending away interest from Arsenal, according to reports from the Daily Star. The 22-year-old enjoyed a great campaign with the newly promoted side last season, alerting Gunners boss Arsene Wenger over a potential move. Leicester are now hoping to persuade him to remain at the King Power Stadium amid speculation that Wenger was preparing to table a £5million offer.
