Bayern Munich have beaten off competition from a host of Europe's top clubs to sign Arturo Vidal from Juventus. The Chile midfielder - who had been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal and Barcelona this summer - will move to Bayern, pending a medical. At a press conference in Guangzhou, China where Bayern are currently on tour, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "I can fundamentally confirm that we have reached an agreement with both parties, Juventus and the player.
