Aston Villa have been rebuffed in their efforts to sign former Arsenal man Gervinho from AS Roma, but could still sign Liverpool target Adem Ljajic from the club, reports the Daily Express.  The Villans had been hoping to bring the 28-year-old back to the Premier League, but Giallorossi sporting director Walter Sabatini has put an end to those hopes.
