Arsenal star heading for Ligue 1 despite Man United links

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is closing in on a loan move to Bordeaux for the rest of the season, according to the Daily Mail. The 30-year old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates all month as he bids to earn a place in the French squad for Euro 2016. Having lost his place to Hector Bellerin after a dislocated shoulder injury, the right-back is in need of first-team football to land a spot. Aston Villa, and surprisingly Manchester United, have been linked with a move for the former Newcastle United defender.
