Eddie Howe Admits Arsenal Lucky Not To Lose Mathieu Flamini To Red Card

It has been reported that Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe feels that Arsenal were lucky not to lose Mathieu Flamini in their 2-0 loss to the Gunners. The Arsenal midfielder escaped with a yellow card for his two-footed challenge on Dan Gosling in the eighth minute of the game when the score was still 0-0. Howe told Sky Sports: 'I thought it was a red, I had a very good view, it looked two footed and potentially off the floor. 'I've only seen it live but my initial view is definite red card. 'For me it wasn't a difficult decision, I felt that the two-footed tackle has been outlawed, and it was a red card.'
