Paul Merson: 'Arsene Wenger like a squatter who won't leave'

Paul Merson has urged Arsenal chiefs to replace Arsene Wenger this summer, describing his former boss as "a squatter" who refuses to quit the club. The Frenchman looks likely to remain in charge at the Emirates Stadium for a 21st year, despite seeing his side fall well short once again in the Premier League. Merson, who made more than 400 appearances for the Gunners during his playing days, has made no secret in the past of his desire to see the back of Wenger.
