Arsenal are facing an injury crisis ahead of the upcoming season following news stating that Alexis Sanchez could miss the start of the season. According to the Mirror, Sanchez is battling to recover from an injury he suffered while playing for Chile in this summers Copa America. Sanchez sustained an ankle injury during Chile's Copa America final win over Leo Messi's Argentina. To make matters worse the daily newspaper states that Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck are also likely to miss the opening weeks of the season due to injury.
