Chelsea unstoppable, Man United blowing up… 5 things we learnt on the weekend

The goals just kept flying in on the weekend, with Premier League teams notching up a staggering 31 net-busters up and down the country – that’s 3.1-per-game! And it wasn’t just goals keeping us entertained, with the leader of the league table swapping three times on Saturday as Manchester City, Liverpool and latterly Chelsea all put themselves at the summit. It looks like we’re in for a long, and entertaining, title race! Away from the overall picture, there were many interesting lessons from the various games, with Chelsea going seven matches on the spin collecting maximum points, all without John Terry. Will he ever get back in? It doesn’t look great for the veteran....
