Jack Wilshere 'honoured' to captain Arsenal, gives update on ankle injury

Midfielder Jack Wilshere has admitted that he was 'honoured' to captain Arsenal against Chelsea on Wednesday game before he was substituted through injury. Despite less than six months remaining on his contract, Wilshere has worked his way back into the first-team fold at the Emirates Stadium and was handed the armband for the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final with his side's London rivals at Stamford Bridge. Wilshere is hopeful that an ankle problem sustained in the second half is "not too bad", but says that he was proud to have been given extra responsibility by manager Arsene Wenger.
