Arsenal academy graduate Marcus McGuane made Barcelona debut last night – watch it here FORMER Arsenal youngster Marcus McGuane became the first Englishman to play for Barcelona since Gary Lineker last night. By George Mills / Published 8th March 2018 The 19-year-old was introduced as a late substitute for the Spanish giants as they cruised to a 4-2 aggregate victory over Espanyol in the Catalan Cup. While his action on the pitch was limited in the 10 minutes he was given, his first-team debut will go some way to vindicating his decision to leave Arsenal in January.
