The midfielder has been a part of the club for 17 years after rising through the academy in north London. But in recent times, Wilshere has struggled to cement his place in the first team, despite his obvious talent. Numerous injuries have plagued his relatively short career so far. And according to reports, Wilshere has already told friends he will reject an £80,000-a-week contract and look for a new club this summer, believing Arsenal  will not come back with an improved offer. The 26-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the season.
