Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has said that he still holds out hope of earning a place in England's World Cup squad. In March, Wilshere was rewarded for his form with the Gunners with a place in Gareth Southgate's squad for the matches with the Netherlands and Italy, but a minor knock led to the player withdrawing from both fixtures.
