Arsenal receive offer from La Liga side for experienced defender
Arsenal have reportedly received an offer from Athletic Bilbao for Nacho Monreal – believed to be in the region of 8million – as the La Liga side aim to lure the defender back to Spain, MARCA reports. As the report says, Monreal joined us in January 2013 from Malaga. He signed a four-and-a-half year deal which expires in 2017, and Arsene Wenger's resolve is set to be tested once again. The Spanish full-back has grown considerably as a player this season, and has become one of our most important stars after displacing Kieran Gibbs in the first XI.
