Athletic Bilbao Chasing Arsenal Defender Nacho Monreal
It has been reported that Athletic Bilbao are being linked with a surprise summer move for Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal. Marca reports that the Basque club are readying a bid of around £5.7million (8m) for the Spanish left-back. Pamplona-born Monreal, who joined the Gunners from Malaga in January 2013, has emerged as an integral part of Arsene Wenger’s squad this season but Bilbao are hoping they can lure him back to his home region.
