Arsenal eyeing Sao Paulo star Brenner to solve woes despite £45m release clause

Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Sao Paulo star Brenner ahead of the January transfer window. Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled in front of goal this season, scoring just nine times in their first eight Premier League matches. It has left the Gunners in 11th going into the international break, having already tasted defeat on four occasions. Arteta may focus on strengthening his attack come January given the relatively poor start to the season. And Calcio Mercato claim that Arsenal are interested in signing young Brazilian striker Brenner.
