Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that the team are a “long way” from where they are supposed to be. The Gunners made a strong start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, winning their first two games of the season before beating Leicester in the Carabao Cup. But four defeats over the first eight games have left them sitting 12th in the table, tasting defeat against Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa and the Foxes. And Arteta, who has recorded a 57 per-cent win rate from his first 42 games in charge, has warned his side that there is work to be done.
