Lifelong Arsenal fan Mat Ryan may make debut in FA Cup 24 hours after signing

New Arsenal goalkeeper Mat Ryan could be in line to make his debut just 24 hours after signing for the club. The Gunners confirmed on Friday that Ryan, 28, has joined them on loan from Brighton until the end of the season. The move comes as a surprise given he has fallen out of favour under Graham Potter over the past month, failing to make it into his squad since their 3-0 defeat away at Leicester on December 13. But Mikel Arteta is delighted to have added a goalkeeper of the Australian’s quality and experience to his squad.
