Daniel Ek’s Arsenal takeover bid 'very strange' with unusual way of seeking deal

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has questioned whether Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek is 'serious' about wanting to buy the club. Ek took to Twitter earlier this month to publicly declare his interest in mounting a takeover, writing: 'As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring.'
