Elneny blunder costs Arsenal goal in behind-closed-doors friendly vs Watford

Mohamed Elneny had a moment to forget in the first half of Arsenal’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Watford on Wednesday afternoon. The Egyptian international lost the ball under pressure in his own box, which ultimately lead to Watford’s Phillip Zinckernagel finding the back of the net, at the second time of asking, after his initial effort was blocked. The mistake came whilst trying to play out from the back, with Elneny cutting back into the path of two opponents, after the ball was played to him by Bernd Leno.
