Bola features in Checkatrade Trophy tie

Academy youngster Marc Bola was in action for Bristol Rovers in their 4-2 defeat at home to Swindon Town on Wednesday night. The defender made his tenth appearance of the season for the Pirates, who now lie third in Group B3 of the Checkatrade Trophy following the loss. Swindon opened the scoring from the spot after just 17 minutes through John Goddard, before Ryan Sweeney levelled things up shortly before the half-hour mark.  The visitors retook the lead soon after, however, through Paul Mullin, while Kellan Gordon netted following the break to double their lead.
